The
four main places to help promote the implemention of your
plan are:

where the health and safety reps may be H,S and Environment
Reps. These are consultative committees usually defined in
law.
|
Works
Council
Works Councils are set up to involve representatives from
all employees. These are usually negotiating committees and
have have power to make decisions.
Team
Team working and human resource management carries no legal
or bargaining commitment but often has high levels of involvement
and ability to make changes.
Environmental Action Group
This is a special, separate committee with people committed
to environmental change. There will not be any legal requirements
for this committee. Its role and power can be almost anything,
from key players in environmental management systems, to a
campaigning group.
