Face Lift for
EP@W home
We
have wanted to change our home page for ages as it was
boring. So we have given it a face lift introducing
surfers to the idea that people work in organisations
each of which have a particular "culture". Does this
translate into an "environmental culture"? Is the way
your organisation deals with environmental issues
determined by their existing culture? |
|
Have a
look and use
the interactive tools (quiz/copy/paste/size etc) to
determine what the environmental culture of your
organisation may be. We have used "hands" as a short
hand (sic) to explain the different cultures, and as a
way to emphasise the "doing" element of any
culture. |
Next online
programmes
We are
pondering which online programmes to develop next. All our
programmes can be produced to SCORM compliance and
attached to an online database. We have a series of options -
including Environmental Culture, Energy Champion
(Tesco are going to have one in every store), Integrated
Pest Management (new EU Directive), H&S Risk
Assessment (new Qualification), Environmental Risk
Assessment (based on DEFRA guide), Gardening for
Sustainabilty (this could explore sustainability with
issues many of us ponder), Healthy Eating
(M&S promise a trained adviser in every store),
Counting Carbon - suddenly in demand, and Reduce
Food Waste in the Home (response to WRAP initiative). To
help us decide, we invite you to go to our
database and put in
your choices and suggestions. Thank you.
Whilst
you ponder...time for a coffee
break..... We are giving away this coffee quiz to anyone who
may wish to have it on their web site. Click

email us to receive this free quiz and request information on other
available quizes. You may prefer to have a bank of
'revolving' questions with just one question per
visit. |
Meanwhile this is what we
are doing..

We are developing a Pesticide Reduction Online
Programme for Sainsbury's suppliers to demonstrate they are
reducing pesticide use as much as possible.
