IMPACTS - where you find out about environmental skills

We apologise for the delay in sending out the current 'Impacts'. EP@W is entering into a new partnership to develop and market our programmes. We are creating a new "front end" to make it clearer how our programmes fit together with the wider skills agenda. If you want to have a peak at the new draft content - prior to the creative process, you can find it at epaw.co.uk/home.html ... leading to home1.html

We have also been working on a new learning programme Sustainable Food Guide. This is for people who may be responsible for food purchasing in the organisation - a food manager, caterer, or restauranteur. If you would like to see our progress and comment on the content visit http://www.epaw.co.uk/food/index.html

The RSA - Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturing & Commerce launch new resource
A new online resource, for companies seeking information and help on environmental grants and awards aimed specifically at the waste sector, has been launched by the RSA in an effort to increase awareness for funding opportunities. This is part of a wider initiative to increase awareness of funding to promote environmental awards. Businesses, communities and individuals can download a variety of information aimed at encouraging sustainable resource management from: www.EnvironmentAwards.net/envawards/waste

If you offer an award or qualification register them with the RSA for promotion on their web site.
