Scoping Qualifications/Awards for Environmental skills at work.
Environmental Practice at Work Ltd is producing a strategy paper for the Carbon Trust's Action Energy Programme. This paper will review the current status of awards/qualifications for workforce skills relating to energy/environment and sustainable development. The paper will make recommendations for national occupational standards and identify relevant organisations that Action Energy should work with to forward the environmental skills agenda. If you are involved with any appropriate inititiatives or feel your organisation has a significant contribution, please let us know at info@epaw.co.uk

WHO and "Environmental Practice"
The World Health Organisation 3rd Health and Environment Conference Declaration said: " We invite WHO and the International Labour Organization to work together to assist countries in developing processes, involving all stakeholders, for implementation of environmental practice which also promotes public health, and to develop close cooperation with the European Commission to assist the candidate countries for membership of the European Union to meet their obligations. We have produced the materials explaining "environmental practice". Can anybody help getting the WHO/ILO to work with EU to implement environmental practices?

They now have the opportunity to develop management systems that promote sustainable development.
