Activity

These seven major environmental impacts overlap and interact continuously.

Major environmental impacts, such as climate change and pollution, are deeply interconnected and act as a complex web, where one crisis amplifies another. These interactions are often synergistic, meaning the combined effect of multiple impacts is greater than the sum of their individual effects
The interaction of workplaces and the environment changes all the time too. Some of these changes bring improvements, some bring new problems and create new environmental impacts.
Rising temperatures and altering habitats force species to migrate or face extinction. This is compounded by pollution, which further degrades habitats and reduces the capacity of species to adapt to climate change
