Every year, £12 billion worth of energy is wasted in the UK. That’s 30% of the country’s energy consumption.

Winter can be the most costly time of year for energy use: as the temperature drops, energy bills inevitably tend to soar.

Action Energy is a UK Government programme designed to provide free information to organisations to help them cut their energy bills. For more, click graphic

Action Energy offers UK organisations of all shapes and sizes a wide range of free energy-saving services, including advice and information to get your energy-saving programme off the ground, and on-site energy surveys.

The Energy Saving Trust was set up by the UK Government after the 1992 Rio Earth Summit and is a non profit organiation, working with a range of partners. Its goal is to achieve the sustainable and efficient use of energy
