Activity 1.7 gets you to look at the overall work process and how it may impact on the environment.

You are asked to draw a picture of what comes into your organisation, in terms of raw materials, energy etc, what goes on at work, and then idicate what happens to the products or services, waste and polution that comes out.

You should now have built up a a picture of your workplace and its relation to the environment. This activity sets you up for Unit 2, which will look more closely at the inputs, work activties and outputs and try and assess the significance of their environmental impacts.
