In
step 2, you will:
- Set
up Review of health, environment and safety.
- Produce
a HES Checklist
- Carry
out Review of health, environment and safety.
Look at your workplace. Draw a chart of what comes in, what
goes on and what goes out.
Go round the workplace with a checklist, perhaps based on the
one below.
When you look at health, safety, or environment, consider the
others. When you look at occupational health, consider also
the environmental health aspects, possible environmental damage
and the social aspects too when weighing up the costs. When
you consider waste, consider the safety aspects.
Ask people what they think or want. 30 minutes a week, look
serious, and make a note of the comments. You will find most
of the answers this way - you do not need a professor of occupational
medicine
Ask
the following sort of questions while carrying out your review.
