Dangers of asbestos have been known for over a century when a women factory inspector first drew attention to the dangers.
It
was not until November 1999 that the use of all forms of asbestos
in Great britain was made illegal. European Commission in
July 1999 banned imports of asbestos into the European Union
by 2005.
