Asbestos

Yet over 4000 people die every year in the UK from asbestos related diseases such as Mesothelioma. More people die from asbestos than are killed on the roads!

Check out asbestos disease risks at:

It is estimated that by 2020 twice as many people - over 10,000, will die a year.

Dangers of asbestos have been known for over a century when a women factory inspector first drew attention to the dangers.

It was not until November 1999 that the use of all forms of asbestos in Great britain was made illegal. European Commission in July 1999 banned imports of asbestos into the European Union by 2005.
