Learning Methods

Active
This means the activities set in each unit are essential and vital. Hopefully, they are also interesting. We believe you learn by doing. By doing something for the environment, you can help both the environment and yourself.

Discovery
At each stage of the programme you can burrow deeper and discover more about the subject material. By following hyperlinks you can discover more about what interests you. You can go to "details", or "case studies", or follow the hyperlinked text.

When you have reached the end of the available resources, you will find web page addresses to point you in the direction of more information and activity.

Collective

You will learn more from other people than any text. The activities are set up for you to talk with other people. It may be that you get together a group of colleagues who meet up regularly to respond to your activities. Another way is to set up a group e-mail to exchange information and ideas with other candidates from different organisations that are also completing this programme. Ask your training provider for details.
