Step 4
Putting the results of your environmental risk assessment (ERA) into practice will make a difference, however small. Write down the results of your risk assessment, and share them with staff. This can help put your roganisation's environmental policy into practice. It is also useful so that others can review it at a later date.
A ERA assessment should be suitable and sufficient. You need to be able to show that:
a proper check was made;
you asked who might be involved
you dealt with all the significant impacts
you involved staff & their representatives in the process.
You may find that there are quite a lot of improvements that could be made. Make a plan of
action to deal with the most important things first.
