Step 1
HOW
Choose a particular environmental impact in your workplace relating with transport. It may be physical, chemical biological, geographical or climate related.
When you work in a place every day we create environmental impacts (however small), so here are some tips to help you identify the ones that matter:
Walk around your workplace and look at what comes in, goes on and goes out. Do In/On/Out Activity
Ask fellow employees or their representatives what they think. They may have
noticed things that are not immediately obvious to you.
Have a look back at complaints and compliances – these help
to identify the most significant Impacts.
Remember to think about long-term, long distance impacts of your workplace. Some substances - e.g. CFCs (ChloroFlouroCarbons) impact many thousand miles away - on the ozone in the stratosphere..
