Waste Hierachy

The 'Waste Hierarchy' says that there is a "hierachy" of ways to tackle waste:

1. Reduce the amount of waste produced.
2. Re-use waste if possible that (e.g. computers),
3. Recover some of the waste. This could include recycling parts, composting or making energy.
4. Disposal is the last resort, whether to landfill or incineration.
