EU Eco-industries supplied some 90 billion ECU of goods and services in 1994, of which 35 billion ECU are investment goods and 55 billion ECU are services, including 'in-house' market services. These figures demonstrate the possible savings and the likely inward investment for industries demonstrating green credentials.
There are now many investment funds that invest only in ethical companies. Do you want to be in organisation that can attract such funds, or in one that is excluded?

These "ethical investment" funds encourage people to invest in companies that can provide clean environmental evidence. Ethical investing makes perfect sense on the bottom line, because companies that don't pollute or discriminate don't have to worry about costly lawsuits and government fines. Good social partners and good environmental performance translate into strong financial performance.
