Drivers for Improvement
 
But how will that translate itself in terms of your workplace? Some people will see the opportunities created by adopting environmental improvement:
  • Create new markets and developing new products
  • Increase Competitiveness
  • Build customer trust
Other people will see threats of environmental involvement such as:
  • Costs will outweigh any benefits
  • There are enough worries already
  • It is another burden

Some organisations will be an Ostrich, keeping their head close to the ground. Others will become Eagles and/or soar over competitors.

Look at the following drivers for environmental change and work out for your self which are most likely to bring changes in environmental performance in your own organisation.
