You will find you need support and assistance to become an Environmental Practioner. These materials provide the information and appropriate competence based activities. But they do not replace personal support and organisation, key elements in any development programme. You will need support from: 1. Management, for dedicated time away from normal work duties, say 2 hours a week for 4 months. You will be putting some time of your own in, but you should be able to do a Unit a month. | 2. Tutors, if you are thinking of running a programme among a number of staff, we recommend you contact LeTTOL for people experienced with online tutoring. 3. Assessors, if you are going for external recognition. Many workplaces already have "D32's" and Internal verifiers. Or contact your local FE College. The organisation will need to be registered with one of the awarding bodies, who will have external verifiers. 4. Funding. The Environmental Practitioner Programme conforms to present funding framework. Contact your local FE College or training Provider to see if they can put on the course. You should be able to use your Individual Learning Accounts (ILAs) to pay for the course programme. |
