At the end of this activity, you will be able to
· Identify the nine main principles of environmental protection
· Relate environmental principles to your work

Assessment Criteria
You will
· Decide whether your organisation has implemented any environmental changes that correspond to the nine principles of Environmental Protection:
Precautionary Principle, Cleaner Production, Resource Use, Energy Efficiency, Waste Hierarchy, Water Control, Environmental Management, Environmental Conservation, Eco-Design.
· Explain how your organisation implements, or could implement, any chosen principle of environmental protection.

Task 1:

Read the text of the nine Principles of Environmental Protection. Use the following checklist, and ask colleagues, to fnd one example of any of the nine principles of environmental protection taking place in your own organisation.
