STEP 4 Application
Priorities at Application
Having examined the possible impacts at application, Co-operative Retail is asking you to decide on the priorities for action. We want you to determine what is in most need of improvement - for each of the possible impacts to land, air water and people (top navigation).
It may be that you have a particular problem:
- e.g. for H&S, ensuring that migrant workers can read pesticide labels. At this point we just want you to raise the problem as a priority. (Later you will make a target related to this priority in Step 5)
It may be a group of growers share a problem
- e.g. wildlife priority: trying to control nematodes without using aldicarb (on monitored list)
- e.g. waste disposal: ways to dispose used pesticide containers within new laws
Other possible priority concerns (Kevin - can you send us a few up to date problems/examples?)

By you setting the priority areas, you set the future agenda. We want you to demonstrate improvement, so it up to you what you choose to deal with - rather than us tell you. While Co-operative Retail may set the boundaries, we recognise this can throw up all sorts of issues. We would like to know what these are - hence we are asking you to tell us.
Now record your priorities for this year...
