To produce 1 tonne of product, it currently takes 11 tonnes of raw material.

This means that over 90% of what comes in goes out somewhere unintended.

It does not disappear. The rest disperses as packaging, emissions and wastes.

Transport takes away all the products and much of the solid waste. Nature carries off the rest.

All organisations were set up to make products or provide services. They were not set up to reduce their environmental impact.
