There are no approved National Occupational Standards(NOSs) for environmental skills other than Management Level (4). There are NOSs for Health and Safety.

However there are a number of qualifications and awards which can be arranged into a National Environmental Training Framework. This framework enables people to see how to progress.

The Environmental Practitioner Programme™ develops environmental skills at advanced level (level 3). What does this mean?

The EPP develops existing Health & Safety Standards and Environmental Awards to help determine the competencies, skills and knowledge, needed to become an Environmental Practioner.
