Conclusions
The
EPP was developed in a number of formats and in a number of
different workplaces to test the relevance and appropriateness
of activities at level 3.
1. The materials were first developed through supply chain
of British Aerospace, now BAE SYSTEMS, at Samlesbury Lancashire.
2.
They were tried and tested in a number of Small Medium Entreprises
(SMEs) through Groundwork Blackburn and Groundwork Bury in
Lancashire.
3.
The Web based materials have been evaluated by a number of
SMEs in the Wirral, Merseyside.
4.
Preston College have run the materials in a mixture of traditional
training format and online delivery.

The
GMB adopted the Environmental Practitioner Programme at their
National Biennual Conference in June 2001
*
Many trainers, advisors, participants, assessors with D32/33's,
Internal, and External verifiers have been involved and the
overall evaluation indicates that these materials are appropriate
for level three.
* The Environmental Practitioner Programme is found to be
particularly relevant to workplaces that have good quality
systems, law abiding health and safety procedures, good working
relations and are commited to want to "do something for the
environment".

programme works!
