env law association

The legal prcoess does not create particularly sspecial environmentla impacts. Its usual busines requires buildings like courts and prisons, and energy and transport between them.

However the law has a particular role in determining what constitutes significant envirnmental impacts - whether to individuals or to the planet as a whole. There is a form of international law - although no international envionment court, that ensures that agreements made by memebrs of the United Nations are carried out. Multilateral Environmental Agreements require that countries develop specific implementation mechanisms and fulfill obligations involving reporting, training, public education, and other activities. The MEA themes lie at the heart of global environmental issues such as CO2 reduction, eco-efficiency, land degradation, energy systems and technology innovation.

Most countries have legal systems that involve Environmental Impacts Assessments in order to implement the requirements of the MEAs.
