Health and Safety in Agriculture and Horticulture Farming is the most dangerous place to work in Britain. The cahnces of being killed while at work on a farm re twice as much as anywhere else. Varous organisations, including the TGWU and NFU along with HSE and 5 Awarding Bodies, worked together to produce the nationally recognised skills for H&S qualifications in Agriculture and Horticulture at levels 2, 3 and 4 - for details see farm H&S agreement These qualifications can be gained through Lantra Awards for Level 2 and Level 3or through City and Guilds Level 2 and Level 3
