IMPACT ON NATURAL CYCLES
 

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this activity, you will be able to
· Describe the links between global impacts and natural systems
· Explain how your organisation may interfere with natural cycles

Assessment Criteria

You will
· Show how 3 aspects of work impact on natural systems
· Demonstrate understanding of the words persistence, cumulative, balance, order and ecology
· Draw a number of cycles, including land, air, water, carbon, and nitrogen.

Task

Make a drawing or provide a paragraph of text that shows how any of the inputs, ongoing processes or outputs of work you identified in the previous activity, may alter each of the following cycles:

Allow 2 hours maximum for this activitiy (20-30 min for each cycle). Check the Guide

You may like to complete the Carbon Cycle diagram by adding the required terms (like methane, starch) to the appropriate place in the cycle.
