Guide to Unit 2 - 6

Activity 2.4

You can help make broader environmental risk assessments, using familiar methods based on legal health and safety (CoSHH) requirements. These environmental risk assessments can help determine the significant environmental impacts of your workplace.

Task 1 You will now extend your risk assessment technique to cover environmental risk. The first environmental risk assessment uses a standard set of work "aspects", although pity the workplace that has all of the work aspects here!

When you have completed the environmental risk assessment of the 'standard' aspects, indicate in each of the boxes, whether the main environmental impact is felt at local, regional or global level - by putting an 'l', 'r' or 'g' in the appropriate box.

Check which are the most significant - the ones at local, regional or global level?
