There is a duty of care not just for employees but anybody who come on a farm or small holding. The difficulty is that the workplace and home are often one and the same. By the nature of the business, other people are involved, particularly other members of the family. Far too many children are injured on farms.

There are a multitude of different visitors, from specialist services, contractors, casual walkers and formal visits.
