Social and Environmental Management System

Training (corresponds with ISO 14001 4.4.2)

Train employees and contractors with direct responsibility for activities relevant to the social and environmental performance.

These employees need to have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their work, including

1) current knowledge of the host country’s regulatory requirements and

2) applicable requirements of Performance Standards 1 through 8.

Address

1) specific measures and actions required under the management programme, including the Action Plan, and

2) methods required to perform the action items in a competent and efficient manner.
