Environmental Reporting

Producing an environmental report benefits your organisation, by helping measure and manage environmental impacts and improving performance.

Reports can differentiate your company from competitors. Employees, insurers, regulators, investors, customers and neighbours are all likely to react more positively to a company that shows it is aware of these issues. There are now awards for best environmental reeporting.

A crucial part of any environmental report is how the organisation intends to measure its impacts, both direct and indirect.

Government guidelines explain in simple terms how to produce a good quality basic report, and outline indicators to report against.
