Indicators

Indicators are measurements of something useful.

There are already all sorts of indicators at work to check performance of the processes, products, and people.

Particular ones of these can be chosen to indicate some aspect of environmental performance.

These are environmental performance indicators.

The world is using indicators more and more.

Indicators have been used to measure economic performance, "the rate of inflation" or "unemployment rates".
